Dr. Ahmad R. Beigi has a Ph.D. in Second Language Acquisition from the University of Isfahan, Isfahan, Iran. He is a member of the Linguist list and a part-time Instructor of ESP & TESL at the English Department of different universities where he teaches ESP & various courses in SLA and translations. He also teaches Testing, Meaning-Based Translation, and TESL to B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. candidates of TESOL as a part-time instructor in different universities. He is also a member of the academic staff of Payampersa English Language Institute (Zarrinshahr, Esfahan, IRAN) and an online language teacher where he offers courses in General linguistics, Methodology in language teaching, Principles of Language Teaching, Fundamental considerations in language testing, Various courses in General English to the graduate students of ELT, Translation, and linguistics. He has also been a “Teacher Trainer” and a “translator trainer” since 1991.
